UCESA and the China ESC co-hosted a roundtable on Friday, May 06, 2022, on:

” Promoting China-Africa Climate Change Cooperation and Capacity Building for Sustainable Development”

It should be remembered that this round table is held four years after the one held in Beijing in 2018. It is part of the tradition of cooperation between the Chinese ESC and the African ESC.

This event was enhanced by the presence of the following personalities:

Presidents of African ESCs (15 countries),
African ESC Members and Secretaries-General.
CESC President Mr. Zhang Qingli, CESC members and the presence of Special Guests.
This strong mobilization is the testimony of a common desire to contribute to the achievement of the economic, social and environmental development objectives of the African continent with the support of the People’s Republic of China as a strategic partner.

At the end of the meeting, the President of UCESA, Mr. Ahmed Reda CHAMI, invited the members of the China ESC to continue the discussions at the next UCESA General Assembly to be held in July 2022 in Morocco.
