UCESA

About UCESA

Created in 1994 at the Constitutive General Assembly in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), the Union of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions of Africa (UCESA) is a regional organization that brings together 19 economic and social councils on the African continent.

UCESA represents African councils in national and international institutions and organizations. As such, it represents the continent in the Board of Directors of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (IAESCSI).
